Tele2 Arena will be an arena filled with events all year round. For this reason, the arena will be built with a sliding roof, making it flexible and allowing events to be held independent of weather and season. The arena will have a pleasant indoor temperature even during the winter season.
Tele2 Arena is primarily financed via the sale of land and associated building rights in the proximity of Globen City, together with profits from operations. The total cost will be SEK 2.7 billion, which includes the cost of production and land acquisition. The cost is balanced against income from sales of building rights and rental from the operator who will run the arena.
